As The Story Goes.....

A woman convinces her husband to take her and her unsuspecting kids to a beautiful land not so far away......

To stay in a nice cottage....

and go on a journey through the woods. They call this place Zion--a national park that looks different enough than where they are from the make the foolish woman happy.

Along the way, the woman suddenly realizes she has a newborn and a 3 year old, very unsuited for walking miles and miles through the magestic land. She also realizes that it is 103 degrees and that even her stronger, braver children are starting to melt and bemoan this land of Zion.

The father, recognizing his wife's folly, takes the children to the river and cools their feet. This river is called Virgin, and seems to have magical powers.

But everyone lives happily ever after with this view out their front window, and with a burger and 3D movie called Ice Age 3.
The moral of the story? Crazy is the woman who makes her family go on HER dream getaway during a heat wave. Wise is the woman who allows movies and ice cream at a national park when there are hot, tired children involved.

Ah, I remember that. I I got sick the day we left and a couple days later I went to the ER because I was having really bad asthma problems because of the allergens and high altitude. It was such a lovely trip!
