Spring Sewing

Winter never came to Florida, so I am moving on. I love you, Winter, but I can't wait all year.
Transitioning seasons dress for my 5 year old.
I am SO thankful for fabric designers. They keep my sewing fires stoked.

Love that dress for Amber! :) If the Lord blesses us with a little girl, I will pay you to sew pretty dresses for her! I'm sorry winter never arrived. It has barely arrived here. It's so warm out that we have had rattlesnakes (I need to email you about that story), and Josh just squished a scorpion...oh, and Peaty our dog had a couple of fleas on his (lethargic, thank goodness, since we treat him diligently with flea preventative)! I just told just I'm not sure how much more of this country living I can take! LOL Thanks for sharing your sewing!

Shannon, I think our cat has a few fleas too. ugh. We did not have even one problem before--not even over the summer!

Oh so good, Steph. Thanks for asking! I finally mailed your Christmas card yesterday. :o) It holds a pic of our newest blessing...our new home! God blessed us beyond our hopes..its such a great house for us. Its right next door to my parents (literally, only a line of hedges stands between), which we love...and its got a beautiful established garden with a grape vine, fruit trees, tons of roses, and wonderful soil. We are going to work it along with my parents. My dad and I took a gardening class tonight (it will be a total of ten sessions), and I came home so inspired!!! Im learning how to compost, too! We are healthy, praise God, and we have an overflowing cup. Thinking of you guys! Praying for you all as you build a new life in FL . God is our provider...even during tough times He lives up to his promise to provide our needs! Hugs from CT!!!
