Really meaningful video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMfSGt6rHos

I don't know how to directly post videos to my blog, but this commercial by the restaurant chain Chipotle brings tears to my eyes and is worth watching.
They are also coming out with a movie by the same name, about a farmer who takes his farm from an industrial one to a sustainable one. God bless all those farmers that have the courage to do the same.

There Are Times

That remind you to love every moment with your children, husband, parents, friends....anyone you love. There are times that you can't believe your blessings at being given even one more day with your loved ones. There are times when you realize puddly little problems are just that.....piddly little problems. There are times that make you wonder what possible good could come out of a tragedy. This is one of those times. We'll miss you, Tyra.

Prayer for a Friend

Please join me in prayer for the healing of my friend, Tyra Demasi. Last Friday she suffered a massive stroke. She is only 41 and has two children ages 14 and 12. The updates I have been able to acquire say she is on life support and is not responding, although another report had said she had a response which is the reason the doctors agreed to operate on her. Regardless of which report is true, she clearly needs prayer for a miracle, that she can live on with her family and help raise her children. I am asking all my praying friends to implore the Lord on her behalf.
Thank you.

The Beach

February is my husband's and my month. Our birthdays are in this month as well as Valentine's Day. We have fun together.
Our visit to the beach was short but meaningful. I got a ton of pictures, but this one kept wanting to run off.
But this face! Ok, so worth the trip to make this one happy.
Our failed attempt at a family picture.
My little mama. She ran all the way back on the boardwalk because she "didn't want me to be all alone back here!". So sweet.

Spring Sewing

Winter never came to Florida, so I am moving on. I love you, Winter, but I can't wait all year.
Transitioning seasons dress for my 5 year old.
I am SO thankful for fabric designers. They keep my sewing fires stoked.
